Galveston and Houston

On the way out of New Orleans we stopped at an urgent care- I wasn't feeling very well, sore throat, maybe a slight fever and Jim's shoulder was hurting him so we did two things while there he got an X-ray and I got antibiotics. 
An hour later we were on the way…

Took the ferry over to Galveston.

Stopped in Galveston at Float to have crawfish and a drink. Mmmm
The rv Campground is a nice little Campground at the south end the the island. Biked to the store to get me DayQuil and NyQuil. Then into the hot tub…so nice!! Still not felling red hot!! 😞

Did laundry....

Then we headed to Houston.  We stayed with a HS friend, Terry and her family. Went to "Burgers" and had burgers and beer. Open air with sand and full size bus in the back for kids to play on. Terry's daughter (Casey) and grandson (Phillip) and husband (Jay) were all with us. Later we had drinks around the fire and then in the hot tub.  Terry made us an amazing shot of schnops.  Terry, Phillip and I walked to the pond and fed the ducks and turtles and then we had an amazing breakfast of tacos and then off to Mustang Island.  Can't believe we didn't get any pictures.....guess I'll have to get some at our 40th reunion in July.
